Cow's caciocostanzo is a string cheese made from cow's milk, salt and rennet, naturally smoked with wheat straw.
It is aged about 30 days, has a sweet flavor and a soft texture.
You can find it available whole from about 1100 g or in halves, from about 550 g. Given its shape, it lends itself to gift wrapping.
It is a ready-to-eat product, lends itself to a variety of uses, and is great when used for fillings or plated.
It can be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of about 4°C.
It is eaten at an ideal temperature of about 15-20°C.

Origin of milk: Italy.

Ingredients: cow's milk, rennet and salt.
